Anita Joshi-Breuer

Osteopath D.O. BSc (Hons) GDK
PG Dipl. Ayurveda Medicine
Yoga Teacher

Created with Sketch.

After completing the "Matura" in Switzerland Anita stayed in Rishikesh, India, for 5 years and studied various forms of yoga and meditation. Since 2001 she has been conducting yoga classes and workshops in Switzerland and abroad. Her classes are mainly based on the tradition of T. Krishnamacharya. She emphasizes breathing techniques (pranayama) and the correct alignment in postures (asanas). Body, breath and mind are coordinated during the class and mind becomes silent.

From 2005 to 2009, Anita completed a 4-year full time degree course at the European School of Osteopathy in Maidstone, UK. As an osteopath she worked at Osteomed GmbH in Steinhausen for several years and in 2012 she obtained the Swiss Federal Diploma in Osteopathy (GDK-Diplom). All insurances for alternative medicine cover the costs for osteopathic treatment.

Anita has done further education in ayurvedic medicine and nutrition at the European Academy of Ayurveda and offers dietary and lifestyle advice in accordance with ayurvedic principles. She is registered with the EMR as an ayurvedic nutritional advisor.

With Aditya she has been able to realise her dream of uniting osteopathy, yoga and ayurveda in holistic healthcare.

Kaustubh Joshi (Joe)

Yoga & Meditation teacher

Created with Sketch.

Kaustubh was born in the northern Himalayan state of Uttarakhand in a traditional Brahmin family. While growing up he studied various Vedic texts and traditions and was exposed to a number of great saints (Neem Karoli Baba, Nantin Maharaj, Maoni Baba, Ramayani Maharaj etc.) from an early age.

During his studies in the fields of medicine and business administration he kept pursuing his main interest in yoga and meditation. He spent many years studying in the tradition of Transcendental Meditation where he also deepened his knowledge of vastu, ayurveda and astrology.

Kaustubh then lived in Rishikesh for 15 years, where he worked in the fields of yoga, meditation and individualised coaching.

His combined knowledge of medicine and in-depth experiences in the Vedic sciences (yoga, meditation, ayurveda, vastu and astrology) allow him to address stress-related disorders, interpersonal conflicts and other issues in a unique, individualised way. He passionately enjoys working with individuals and in groups.

Angelika Javor

MSc Osteopathy (Austria)
& Dipl. Physiotherapist (Austria)

Created with Sketch.

After completing my studies in the field of physiotherapy in the General Hospital in Vienna, I worked there for four years as a physiotherapist in the University Clinic for Physical Medicine.

In the next four years I could deepen my knowledge in the field of outpatient rehabilitation in the private hospital Gmunden. During this time I became fascinated with the concept of holism in osteopathy and started my studies in osteopathic medicine at the Osteopathic School of Vienna.

I then changed to the Therapy Center Blumau Linz, where I worked as a self-employed physiotherapist with focus in osteopathic medicine. In 2012 I completed my diploma studies in osteopathy in the Osteopathic School of Vienna. The Master of Osteopathy (MSc)
I completed at the Donau University Krems, Austria, in 2019 with the thesis: „Research in Osteopathy: A Systematic Overview of Systematic Osteopathic Reviews“.

Three years ago I moved to Zug with my family and I am very happy to be working as an osteopath in Aditya.

Elisabeth Luthiger

Yoga Teacher

Created with Sketch.

Elisabeth has been practising yoga for over 30 years. Through her work with Swiss International Airlines she has been traveling the world for 35 years and has come in contact with many different cultures and people from all walks of life. Her first yoga class was in Mumbai, India on one of her trips. Over the next years she deepened her personal practice, next to her family (she has triplets!), her job with Swiss and her hobbies (mountaineering, cycling and (cross country) skiing).

2008 she started her 4 year yoga education at the academy of Doris Echlin and received the diploma ‘Yogateacher BDY/EYU’ in 2012. Over the next years she deepened her knowledge with further education courses, as well as a 3 year education in yoga philosophy with Sriram.

In every lesson her deep knowledge and personal experience is palpable. Her classes are powerful, dynamic and incorporate static positions, held for a period of time (asanas) and flowing sequences. She also emphasises on the correct practice of breathing exercises (pranayama).

In the year 2022 Elisabeth experienced the lowest point in her life. She had to undergo two operations, one for a bad climbing accident and another for a congenital heart defect. Through the power of yoga she could find an anchor in her own Self and recover incredibly quickly. Through this personal experience she brings even more depth into her yoga lessons.

Annina Hirschi

Yoga Teacher

Created with Sketch.

Annina is practicing yoga since 2010. Her first yoga lesson already made a big impact on her and she felt touched very deeply. Initially she was fascinated by the physically intensive vinyasa flow (flowing body postures in yoga). Later she discovered the qualities of the calmer and slower yoga practice - which also includes meditation and pranayama (breathing exercises).

Her yoga teacher training (200h) she did 2014 in Zürich with Planet Yoga. Her teacher training (300 h) she concluded in 2021. She’s been teaching since 2014 and has been part of the Aditya Yoga Team site 2019.

Yoga for her, signifies love, peace, contentment, awareness, wellbeing and sometimes also a bit of a challenge. As a mother of 3 nearly grown up children the time on the yoga mat also means: to have some time FOR HERSELF! No matter how tired and drained she feels, after her yoga practice she feels grounded and somehow healed from everything! Her mat is definitely: “my favourite place on the planet”!

Otherwise she enjoys hiking, biking, walks with her dog, traveling to her roots in Finland - to nature and away from everything!

Claudia Marth

Yoga Teacher

Created with Sketch.

Growing up in Davos I enjoyed sports, nature and dancing to balance my daily working life. After a few years as a fitness and jazz dance instructor I got to know yoga. The connection between breath, body and mind fascinated me right from the beginning; this inspired me to complete my own teacher training in yoga. Yoga gives me energy, allows me to trust and remain calm.

In my lessons I make sure the classes are structured well and have a clear aim. Mindfully we discover details and increase our self-awareness. Mindfulness allows us to arrive in the present moment and opens the possibility to new freedom and a deeper level of consciousness. My lessons are gentle but strong.

Education: Diploma at the Gymnastikberufsschule with K. Alexieva, Zürich (800 h); studies in dance and movement therapy method Garcia, Zürich (620 h); yoga teacher YA, Master, Vinyasa Power Yoga Akademie, Germany (500 h).

Since 2012 I've been teaching yoga and visiting further education workshops on a regular basis. In Aditya, I currently cover yoga classes as a substitute teacher.
